Golden Rainbow continues to provide affordable and comfortable housing for men, women and children who are HIV/AIDS infected/affected who otherwise would have no other place to call home. We also offer financial relief to qualified low-income people living with HIV/AIDS by assisting with payment of rent, mortgages, utilities, health-related costs, childcare, transportation, and other basic living expenses.

EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

For many low income individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, a sudden illness or unexpected medical bill can be financially devastating. Golden Rainbow's Emergency Financial Assistance program assists with emergency short-term needs and limited assistance for eligible clients so that they may maintain an adequate living environment and continue medical care.

Golden Rainbow's Affordable Housing Program provides long-term and transitional housing to low income individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS who have had challenges securing safe, affordable places to live.

RETURN TO WORK SUPPORT

Fortunately, advances in medical treatments are producing positive results and prolonging lives. In this new era of disease management, the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS has evolved. Many of our clients are returning to the work force after being disabled for months or years. Some are returning by choice. Others are returning to work out of necessity. Many are re-entering the workplace in order to supplement their social security or disability income.
