Golden Rainbow welcomes the new date for the highly anticipated Ribbon of Life, an original talent showcase unlike any other in Las Vegas, featuring exciting and custom entertainment acts from the Strip's best singers, dancers, and performers. Ringing in the holiday season, more than 200 performers will sing, dance, and defy gravity with aerial acrobatics to holiday classics. Event proceeds will benefit men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada by providing critically needed services like housing and financial assistance.

Tickets start at $45. The show is open to all ages.

Sashay your way to The Stirling Club for an unforgettable holiday drag brunch show with some of Las Vegas’ favorite drag superstars on Sunday, December 12th from 12-2 p.m. Cirque du Soleil’s Edie, from Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity,” will host and perform live, alongside Martina Brookshire and Jori Darling from FAAABULOUS! We are very excited to announce that our first COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Town Hall and Incentive Event with Touro University and Kiva was a success, resulting in 50 newly vaccinated community members!

In case you missed it, join us for a second event on Saturday, December 11th from 10 a.m. to noon at the Community Counseling Center.

Dr. Edgeworth, M.D. will provide a brief presentation and answer attendees’ questions in both English and Spanish. All people ages of 12 and older who reside in Las Vegas, regardless of citizenship status, are invited to register. Attendees are encouraged to bring identification and vaccine cards (but they are not required.) This event is free and insurance is not necessary.

The vaccines to be provided include Pfizer, Moderna (first, second and third shots) and flu shots. We highly encourage registering for this event to ensure there are enough vaccines, but walk-ups will be welcomed. Click HERE to register for this event.

Renowned photographer Noel Dahl of Noel Photo Studio will celebrate his first gallery show with an opening reception on Wednesday, July 7 from 6-9 p.m. at EDIT - Chic Books/Home Fashion (1114 S. Main Street, Suite 130). A generous percentage of sales from select artwork that night and throughout the rest of July will benefit Golden Rainbow to provide critically needed services, including housing, education, wellness and direct financial assistance to men, women and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Best known for his tasteful, artistic photography of the nude male form, Dahl has photographed many Las Vegas entertainers from Cirque du Soleil, Chippendales, Puppetry of the Penis and more. His creativity with lighting techniques and stylistic expression has resulted in dynamic portraits showcasing a different side of the performers not normally seen in the public eye. One of Dahl’s images was recently chosen as a top finalist for the Tom of Finland photo competition.

The reception is free and open to the public ages 21 and older. Dahl will be in attendance, along with several of his photo subjects. His artwork will be on display at EDIT throughout the month of July, with a percentage of sales contributed to Golden Rainbow.

Dining Out For Life® is a national campaign held each year throughout the United States and Canada to raise funds for local AIDS Service Organizations. In Southern Nevada, Golden Rainbow is the sole beneficiary of these funds. This annual fundraising event involves the generous participation of volunteers, corporate sponsors and restaurants. Dining Out For Life® was created in 1991 in Philadelphia and is now produced in 60 cities throughout the United States and Canada. This will be the fourth year that Las Vegas will be producing this popular event.

Nationally, more than 3,000 restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds from this one special day of dining to the licensed AIDS service agency in their city. More than $4 million dollars a year is raised to support the missions of HIV/AIDS service organizations throughout North America. 100% of all money raised in Southern Nevada will stay locally to support Golden Rainbow’s HIV/AIDS Housing, Education and Emergency Support Programs.

Drive-in Drag Show hosted by Edie!

What: Dreamland Drive-In will present the “world’s first drive-in drag show” on Saturday, June 13, hosted by Edie from Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity” and featuring a variety of song and dance numbers plus a few surprises.

The show will serve as the launch event for “Golden Rainbow Gives Back,” a collaboration to raise money for Golden Rainbow to provide services for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS as well as the Actor’s Fund to help the Las Vegas community sustain during these difficult times and honor the tradition of giving from performers who have supported Golden Rainbow throughout the years. Profits from this event and future events will be divided equally between Golden Rainbow and the Actor’s Fund, of which 100 percent will be directed to Las Vegas-based performers.

When: Saturday, June 13 with performances at 7 and 10 p.m. Parking starts 30 minutes prior to each show.

Mondays Dark is a variety show that raises $10,000 for a different local charity every other Monday.

Golden Rainbow is honored to be the beneficiary of Monday's Dark for February 3, 2020!
