Golden Rainbow is pleased to offer Wellness Workshops. We offer a variety of workshops or activities focusing on healthy options for managing a chronic disease and alternative solutions to the unique challenges many people living with HIV/AIDS must confront every day.
At Golden Rainbow, we believe education is the key to prevention. As such, Golden Rainbow’s mission now includes offering healthy living and risk reduction programs to HIV+ individuals to encourage responsible behavior, improve health outcomes and decrease HIV transmission rates.
Golden Rainbow is the leader in providing health education and risk reduction programs in Southern Nevada. Our programs are designed to improve the quality and quantity of life by providing HIV+ individuals with the tools to better balance their complete health: Mind, Body, and Spirit.
These workshops are open only to clients currently enrolled in The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A or B. Check the individual listings for enrollment criteria.
All persons seeking to enroll in Ryan White Programs must first be pre-screened by a case manager from one of our partner agencies.

Yoga For All Body Types
Golden Rainbow is pleased to offer Resilience Yoga for all body types. Unlike traditional yoga sessions, each class has been designed for people with unique medical and physical challenges in mind. Our clients are encouraged to participate in this safe, judgment free environment no matter their shape, size, or sexuality or fitness level.

Aromatherapy & Chakra Balancing Workshops
This workshop is meant to heal the mind and body with the art of Aromatherapy. This workshop is specifically intended for people who are on Antiretroviral Therapy and want to explore options to complement their therapy. Aromatherapy has many beneficial qualities of healing with various treatments and techniques. These techniques include boost feelings of relaxation, boost immunity, improve digestion, ease stress, anxiety, and depression. Aromatherapy will help facilitate attendees on how to manage side effects due to their medication and improve their quality of health living with HIV.
Some side effects due to their medication include fatigue, digestion, relaxation, and anxiety. They will explore how to use different essential oils effectively to adhere and tolerate their medication. Attendees will be capable of practicing Aromatherapy in their own personal use with tangible items they will make in the workshop.
All persons seeking to obtain these services through Golden Rainbow must qualify as low-income (0-80% of area median income and/or household income not to exceed 400% of the Federal Poverty level) and must be pre-screened by a case manager from one of our partner agencies.
